Pinterest Project #1: Spray Painted Cookie Sheet!

My first project took a couple of days to complete.   Sometimes it takes me a while to get going.

Pinterest Project #1 is a spray painted cookie sheet.  I considered buying a $1 cookie sheet from Dollar Tree to paint, but then I realized... gosh if I'm going to buy a new cookie sheet, I should keep the newer one to bake with and just paint one of our old ones!  So I took an old cookie sheet that we already had and spray painted it white.  I waited a whole day for it to dry, but easily could have started this in the morning and allowed it a few hours to dry before moving on to step two.  I next applied masking tape in stripes and then spray painted the cookie sheet yellow.  After that dried completely, I peeled off the tape (s-l-o-w-l-y) to reveal a pretty neat-looking tray.  I can use it as a serving tray for a refreshing pitcher of lemonade and a set of glasses, or maybe use the tray as a vignette on the coffee table with a vase of flowers and a book.  I can also hang it on the wall or a cabinet in the kitchen to use with magnets!  Tons of uses for these spray painted cookie sheets!  I'm so glad I found this project on Pinterest!
